- Function: Cross-standard bridging
- Pairs: GB/T ↔ CCS2 · CCS1 ↔ GB/T · Type 2 ↔ GB/T
- Current: Up to 250 A
- Ingress rating: IP54 mated
- Compliance: IEC 62196 · GB/T 20234
- Use case: Fleet and cross-border
Key benefits
Active negotiation, not passive wiring
The adapter speaks both protocols and monitors both interfaces, rather than bridging pins and hoping. That is what makes it safe to leave unattended.
Built for fleet duty
Fleet adapters live in a boot and get used daily, so the housing, strain relief and latch are specified for that duty cycle, not for occasional consumer use.
Clear about what it does not do
An adapter does not make a vehicle compliant with a market. It makes existing infrastructure usable. We will tell you which of the two you actually need.
Description
An adapter lets a vehicle built for one standard use infrastructure built for another. It is a fleet and cross-border tool, not a substitute for building the vehicle to the standard of the market it sells in.
Because the adapter sits between two safety systems, it has to negotiate with both. Grapcharger adapters carry the signalling and temperature sensing of both interfaces rather than passively wiring pins across.

FAQ
Does an adapter make my vehicle legal in another market?
No. Compliance is a property of the vehicle. An adapter makes existing infrastructure physically usable; it does not change the type approval.
Can the adapter be left unattended while charging?
Yes for fleet-duty adapters with active negotiation and temperature monitoring on both sides. Consumer-grade passive adapters should not be.
